A delegation from Ghana’s diplomatic mission in the United Arab Emirates has paid a courtesy visit to the Black Queens’ training camp, offering support and checking on the welfare of the team as preparations intensify for the upcoming Pink Ladies Cup.
The visit comes as the senior women’s national team of Ghana Football Association continues its training programme in the UAE, using the international window to fine-tune tactics and assess squad depth ahead of major assignments later this year.
Officials from the Ghana Mission interacted with players and technical staff, conveying messages of encouragement and reaffirming the government’s commitment to the safety and wellbeing of Ghanaian nationals abroad, including athletes representing the country.
Team management expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as a timely morale boost for the squad. The Black Queens have been in camp for several days, focusing on fitness, tactical drills and team bonding activities as the technical team evaluates combinations and match readiness.
The Pink Ladies Cup is expected to provide valuable competitive minutes for the team, with the tournament serving as part of a broader rebuilding and strengthening phase for Ghana’s women’s football programme.
The visit underscores the close collaboration between Ghana’s diplomatic missions and sporting bodies in ensuring national teams receive adequate support while on international duty.
With preparations progressing steadily, the Black Queens remain focused on delivering strong performances and building momentum in their quest to reassert themselves on the continental and global stage.
