Sunday, April 6 — It’s a decisive day at the CAF U-17 tournament as teams wrap up the group stage with crucial fixtures in both Group A and Group B, all aiming for a spot in the semi-finals.
In Group B, unbeaten leaders Burkina Faso U-17 (6 points) face second-placed South Africa U-17 (4 points) at 17:00 CAT. Burkina Faso are already through but will be eyeing a clean sweep, while South Africa need at least a point to be sure of qualification.
At the same time, Cameroon U-17 (1 point) will fight for survival against bottom-placed Egypt U-17 (0 points), who are already eliminated. A win for Cameroon could keep their hopes alive, depending on the result from the other match.
Later in Group A, all eyes will be on the clash between Uganda U-17 (3 points) and Zambia U-17 (4 points) at 20:00 CAT. It's a do-or-die match: Uganda must win to progress, while a draw is enough for Zambia to book their place in the knockout round.
Also at 20:00, Morocco U-17 (4 points) take on already-eliminated Tanzania U-17. The Moroccans will look to finish top of the group and maintain their unbeaten record.
